Kurt Vile and the Violators Play The Orange Peel

Prepare to be violated Asheville, in the best way possible!

It’s hard to believe Kurt Vile has been around since 2005 and if you have missed out on his previous performances in the area consider yourself unlucky. Vile and his band, the Violators, have graced Asheville with their presence in more intimate settings like the Grey Eagle, but now find themselves on the city’s main stage at the Orange Peel. Kurt Vile and the Violators provide an easy-going sonic experience that anyone can connect with, evoking a Neil Young-Lou Reed crossover that is sure to please.

UNCA Brings Back Concerts on the Quad!

This is a great way to bring people out to both UNCA, and to see some great, mostly local, bands!  We're especially excited about Chatham County Line coming on July 13th!

Here's the article:

"UNC Asheville’s Concerts on the Quad, once a fixture of Asheville’s summer calendar, will return in the summer of 2015. This summer’s lineup will feature five free concerts on UNC Asheville’s Quad, spanning many musical genres, and will include shows by two local Asheville bands.
