The expert blues singer and guitarist thrills Asheville

Despite the rainy weather, Samantha Fish played a killer show on Saturday night to a big crowd at Salvage Station. Openers T.V. Mike and the Scarecrowes got the evening off to a great start with their warm spirited sound. Laughter filled the air, beer bottles clang together, and the downpour of rain outside the walls of the cozy venue didn't even matter.

Balance and Composure are all set to play a show tonight at The Grey Eagle along with openers From Indian Lakes and Queen Of Jeans. The Pennsylvania based band are touring on their most recent album Light We Made from the end of last year. The album sees the guys toning down their hardcore and punk-rock roots in exchange for a smoother and dreamier sound.

Excited fans were streaming through the door of The Orange Peel this past Wednesday evening to see Foxygen play a heavily anticipated show. The California based duo dropped their most recent album Hang back in January of this year and are currently touring around the country. The event kicked off with Gabriella Cohen opening up and getting everyone in the music spirit.

The 28-year-old guitarist has made a name for herself in the world of blues and is hot off the heels of releasing her fourth studio album Chills & Fever. On Saturday night she'll play the always awesome Salvage Station along with T.V. Mike and the Scarecrowes

This past Saturday night was truly a memorable one thanks to Explosions In The Sky and Thor & Friends. The spring night was warm and the mood out on The Orange Peel floor was calm. Tonight Asheville was lucky to have some of the most talented and critically acclaimed musicians in the game, and the eagerly awaiting crowd had been waiting all week for this.
